This assignment is from my Introduction to Human Communication (COM100) course at Chandler-GIlbert Community College. One of the course competencies of COM100 is that students gain the ability to communicate via public speech. In an online environment, however, replicating a face-to-face public speaking environment is not possible...but we're close! The video below is what my students watch for their instructions for their mediated speaking assignment, which is a precursor to their public speaking assignment later in the semester.

In May 2010 the Guru visited Northern Arizona University for the 2010 Southwest Institute for Learning with Technology conference.  Her session, Winning Webinars, was recorded and archived.  While the recording is not intended for a webinar audience (as the session was delivered in person) participants were able to log into individual portals and participate in a webinar format while simultaneously attending an in-person seminar.
